Alina Lyons

Clinical Associate

Alina will help you uncover your strengths and navigate the path to personal growth and understanding.

Alina is a Clinical Associate with over nine years of experience in school board and private practice settings. Alina specializes in providing psycho-diagnostic and psycho-educational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She began her career as a Certified School Psychologist in British Columbia, working in the Abbotsford School District and Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver. Since moving to Toronto, Alina has worked as a psychoeducational consultant for various Toronto school boards.

Alina completed an M.A. through the School Psychology program at the University of British Columbia. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in school psychology at the University of Toronto, where her research focuses on women and girls diagnosed with ADHD. Through this research, Alina hopes to explore the long road to late diagnosis in women and the impairment that results from missed (or mis-) diagnosis. Alina is also currently working towards registration with the College of Psychologists.

As part of the EPS team, Alina conducts assessments with children, adolescents, and adults and is supervised by Dr. Ed Roldan. She strives to make everyone feel comfortable while helping them find their unique strengths and skills. Alina is passionate about bridging the gap between private practice and educational settings by empowering clients and their families to self-advocate. Beyond work, Alina finds balance outdoors, often with a furry friend or two in tow.
