About Us
At EPS, we are proud to feature a team of highly trained clinicians who specialize in research-based treatment.
With decades of professional experience between them, our team has the expertise and skills necessary to help children, adolescents, and adults struggling with stressors and life challenges. No two clients' needs or journeys are the same, so neither is the approach when it comes to therapy – we make sure that treatment is tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
We invite you to explore all that EPS has to offer and join us on your journey toward improved mental and emotional well-being.
EPS Directors
Dr. Alma Roldan, Ph.D., C.Psych.
Clinical and Counselling Psychologist, Director of Adult Clinical Services & Co-Founder of EPS Family Health
Dr. Alma has long been driven by her passion for helping others, especially when it comes to improving treatments and care for various health concerns that her clients might be facing. While working on her Master's Degree in Pharmacology, she began to realize the effect that stress can have on us and how difficult it can be to manage this without the right tools and support. As she gained a deeper knowledge of psychology and psychotherapy while pursuing her graduate degree, she saw how well this can be utilized to treat mental health challenges and decided to change her career path to reflect this.
She is passionate about helping her clients develop insight into their mental and emotional health. She has years of experience in guiding people through various difficulties such as depression, anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety, panic disorder, generalized anxiety), relationship struggles, grief/loss processing, and burnout/work stress recovery using evidence-backed therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By exploring the mind-body connection & learning how to better manage difficult emotions she helps her clients strengthen important relationships while developing creative solutions for navigating life's challenges with self-compassion and resilience.
She warmly welcomes individuals seeking therapeutic support as she works diligently to provide compassionate, research-backed treatments suited for each unique situation. She provides individualized treatment options to help her clients face their challenges with care and understanding in a safe space.
Dr. Alma offers her clients a supportive, understanding environment to help them reach self-acceptance and create meaningful changes in their lives. Struggling with daily stressors and the challenges that come your way can make life feel overwhelming or lonely, but she’s here to remind you that you don't have to do this by yourself!

Dr. Eduardo Roldan, Ph.D., C.Psych.
Clinical and School Psychologist, Director of Child and Adolescent Services & Co-Founder of EPS Family Health
With a passion for evidence-based treatments and aiding others, Dr. Eduardo Roldan found the perfect fit when he chose psychology as his profession! He has developed his career around assisting children and adolescents on their journeys of growth, guiding them through the challenges and successes that come their way and helping them develop a strong sense of self that will follow them through to adulthood.
Dr. Ed is dedicated to helping children and youth reach their fullest potential with his supportive approach, blending evidence-based strategies within a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. He seeks to promote self-compassion and resiliency in young people struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, aggression/anger, developmental disabilities, and interpersonal difficulties (e.g., with caregivers and/or peers). He also aids in the development of mindful parenting skills for better understanding between parents & their children, all aimed at creating a positive life-changing experience that will benefit them now and in the future.
Dr. Ed also offers therapy for adults and is passionate about helping parents build better relationships with their children. He understands that this can be a hard and challenging role, and his goal is to help people develop an understanding of the factors which may interfere with making value-based decisions as caregivers, so they can prioritize what’s most important for them in terms of raising happy, healthy kids. With his mindful approach, he aims to empower individuals on their journey toward becoming even more effective parents with stronger relationships with their children.
Through his work, his goal is to help people reframe their outlook and gain a greater sense of understanding. He guides his clients toward self-compassion as they journey through discovering true meaning in every part of life - even when it brings challenges. His services provide an empowering new perspective that encourages individuals to accept difficult situations and discover tools to work through them so they can confidently face anything that comes their way.
